Upper Neelum is a charming village perched on a hillside near Keran in Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir. Known for its panoramic views of lush green mountains, dense pine forests, and the tranquil Neelum River, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the city. The fresh mountain air, friendly locals, and natural beauty make Upper Neelum a favorite spot for nature lovers and photographers alike.
Included/Excluded
- The tour includes private transport from Muzaffarabad to Upper Neelum and back, with stops at scenic viewpoints along the way. Accommodation for two nights in a guesthouse or hotel with standard amenities is covered, along with breakfast and dinner during the stay. A local guide will be available for short hikes and village exploration. Basic photography support, sightseeing assistance, and a first aid kit are also provided.
- Travel to and from Muzaffarabad from your home city is not included. Personal expenses such as snacks, souvenirs, mobile/internet charges, and lunch meals are excluded. Trekking gear, travel insurance, and extra activities (like boating or horse riding) must be arranged and paid for separately. Any expenses caused by unforeseen delays (weather, landslides, etc.) are not covered.
Tour Plan
Arrive in Muzaffarabad in the morning and begin the scenic drive toward Upper Neelum via Keran, stopping at viewpoints and waterfalls. Reach Upper Neelum by evening and settle into a guesthouse. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy guided walks to explore Upper Neelum, visit nearby viewpoints, and interact with local villagers. Optional short hikes or photography sessions can be arranged. Return to the guesthouse for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast with mountain views, then begin the return drive to Muzaffarabad. Stop for photos and lunch en route. The tour concludes in Muzaffarabad by evening.
